Projects Editorial Review
The "Carpentry for beginners: how to use tools, basic joints, workshop practice, designs for things to make" book is a great resource for those looking to start their journey in woodworking. While the title may be slightly misleading, as it focuses more on furniture making and fine work rather than Construction projects, it provides valuable technical information presented in a clear and concise manner. The author, Hayward, demonstrates that it is possible to create beautiful projects using hand tools exclusively in a small workshop. The book is split into two parts, with the first half offering project ideas and plans to inspire readers, while the second half delves into various techniques and joinery methods. While not a comprehensive guide, this book serves as an excellent starting point for beginners and helps them dive into the world of carpentry. Many customers have found it to be a helpful resource, providing informative content for those new to the craft. Overall, "Carpentry for beginners: how to use tools, basic joints, workshop practice, designs for things to make" is a recommended read for individuals interested in pursuing woodworking as a hobby.
