Answer: It may fit, however that is not the only concern. Bass drum heads have additional clamps to hold the head onto a drum that is sideways. -

I play a cocktail set with the bass drum on the bottom of a 16” floor Tom. Will this head stay on the bottom of the drum?
Answer: I have had a lot of trouble getting it to stay on my 16” sonor bop kit... I usually just use a strip of gaff tape to keep it from slipping off.
