The Taco HLPe-1 HotlinkPlus-e pump is designed to provide hot water instantly to your taps, reducing wait time for hot water and saves water while doing so. The pump connects to the hot and cold water lines under the bathroom sink or any other water source, through which it pumps hot water to the furthest fixture in the house. The pump does not obstruct the flow of cold water, allowing the cold water to easily flow into the hot water supply line resulting in instant hot water. The pump comes with top and bottom brass connections to be inserted into the Hotline at the water tank pipe. It also includes two 3/4" hoses and 1/2" female flex lines for use with a valve. However, some customers claim that the plastic pump housing material is not durable enough, and they were advised by their plumber that it was not necessary to have the pump installed, causing them to return the product. The Constant on more works perfectly, while the self-learning function may require experimentation to meet individual preferences. The Hotlink valve which flows hot water to the cold side works well, delivering hot water within 5 seconds to the taps in one customer's bathroom located 65 ft away from the hot water heater.
