The MIDIPLUS i61 keyboard is a functional, plug and play MIDI controller, suitable for novice users. Its key action is solid and velocity sensing is Consistent. The bend/mod wheels react as expected, and it has a data entry slider, sustain pedal options and multi-octave range. The keyboard features an intuitive layout, and comes with an easy-to-understand user manual (in PDF format). Most users were happy with their purchase and recommended it for the price, build quality and functionality. There were a few users who encountered a G3 key issue, and there were others who received used or defective items, but these experiences were the exception.
