Genetics Editorial Review
The Chromatography: Basic Principles, Sample Preparations and Related Methods 1st Edition provides an excellent overview of chromatography theory and applications. It covers a broad set of topics that one would see in chromatographic analyses including gas chromatography, HPLC, TLC, supercritical fluid chromatography, electrophoresis and chromatography on a chip. The book is exceptionally well done with useful graphics in color, but some of them are a bit too small to interpret. The book is not a primer and would be helpful for those who have had significant prior exposure to chromatography and have done lab work in the area. It is an excellent addition that helps bring everything into focus. It does not pedagogically present the material in a logical manner but does cover all major topics. It's a good source of information, although readers need to go to another book or reference to complete the lack of details.
