The Trumpeter Rivet Maker Tool is a convenient and easy to use tool designed for adding rivet detail to plastic scale models, especially aircraft models. It has three or four wheels with different spacing that can help create optical effects of rivets. However, it may not be suitable for ship models or smaller scale models. The points on the blades are sharp, but the plastic handle and blade protector could obscure the user's view, making it difficult to lay straight rivet lines precisely. Some reviewers also pointed out that the plastic hub around which the blade rotates is too soft and could get worn out quickly. Despite some drawbacks, it is a useful tool for adding or replacing rivets that were left off the model in the first place or get sanded away.
