Action & Adventure Editorial Review
Critters Attack! (Blu-ray) is an action and horror blend that brings back the beloved Critters franchise after over 30 years, showcasing practical effects rather than CGI. While some viewers find it corny and acknowledge plot holes, the nostalgia and practical effects resonate well with fans. The movie features notable contributions from actors such as Dee Wallace and aims to capture a blend of humor and horror reminiscent of classic 1950s sci-fi films. Despite criticisms regarding character consistency and story coherence, the enjoyable gore and intense final battle provide a thrilling experience for die-hard Critters enthusiasts and monster movie lovers alike.
