Piano & Keyboards Editorial Review
The "Rhythmic Training" book is highly recommended for anyone learning a musical instrument, as it guides the reader through progressively challenging rhythmic patterns shown on a staff. The exercises provide a solid foundation for understanding note values, reading sheet music, and conducting. The book's compact size and good paper quality make it convenient for practice and note-taking. The clear conducting patterns in different time signatures are particularly helpful. One user noted a possible typo in the book but overall Considered it a valuable resource for practicing rhythm. However, some users expressed a desire for larger font size and more written instructions on counting, while also acknowledging the importance of "feeling" the rhythm. The book's effectiveness in teaching rhythm is highlighted, with a suggestion to use it alongside a metronome for maximum benefit.
