Mediterranean Editorial Review
Jerusalem: A Cookbook is an excellent choice for food lovers, particularly those interested in Middle Eastern cuisine. It is well-organized and provides valuable information about each dish, including variations and substitutions. The recipes are easy to follow and produce flavorful and healthy dishes. Although the book contains many ingredients, most are spices and herbs that can easily be found at a Middle Eastern or Asian market. The author's Italian twist to Israeli cuisine adds a special flavor to the recipes. The bread recipes are particularly noteworthy as they are reminiscent of street food from Jerusalem. The chocolate Krantz/Babka cake recipe is excellent. We highly recommend this cookbook.
