The Mayflash N64 Controller Adapter is a device intended to allow gamers to connect their Nintendo 64 controllers to modern Consoles, such as the Nintendo Switch, Wii or Wii U. However, customer feedback suggests that the adapter's compatibility with each Console is limited. While the adapter is marketed as compatible with the Nintendo Switch, some customers have had difficulty getting it to work. However, one user found success after activating the "Pro controller wired communication" setting in their Switch's options. Unfortunately, the feature that maps the adapter for use with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has caused issues for some users, causing the Up option on the right joystick to become stuck. The adapter does not work for N64 games played on the Wii or Wii U. Similarly, it does not allow N64 controllers to be used on the Wii-U. Overall, the Mayflash N64 Controller Adapter has received mixed feedback from customers.
