The product contains Mesotrione as the active ingredient, and the recommended areas for 8 oz. is 1 acre with safe use during centipede grass and in the presence of pets and children. Most customers claim that it works well, is inexpensive and safe but require a second treatment within 7-10 days to do the job thoroughly; some report that it may cause "bleaching" and may not work after one application. The product instruction recommends using a surfactant in pre-emergent applications of the product.
