It presents a systematic procedure for writing code, compiling, loading and debugging, which is not available in a single STM document. However, some reviewers mentioned that the book is outdated and not for novice programmers. Some of the advanced examples did not work well, and many users had to hunt down the right details to make them successful. The book has plenty of typos and print errors, which makes it frustrating at times. The review strongly recommended a second edition that includes an update with STMCubeIDE, an expansion of C++ and an I2S working demonstration, among others.
