Mo-Co-So Computer Microphones Editorial Review

The Andrea 2S Superbeam Array Microphone is a high-quality microphone designed to sit on top of a monitor. There is no on/off switch, but users can switch off the supporting software or disconnect its cable from the USB jack. The microphone requires a special USB audio adapter made by the same company, and a special driver is required to use that audio adapter, which is only available on Windows and Mac OS, although there is a kit for Raspberry Pi. The microphone does not work with iPhones and Android tablets. Feedback on the microphone is mixed. Some reviewers describe it as a great value for the money and report that it works as designed, with good sound quality and noise isolation. Others note that the microphone can be tricky to attach to surfaces, and that it can leak sound at high volumes. Some reviewers also report problems with line noise, and note that the product description neglected to state the limitations of hardware compatibility.
