The E6 is an excellent grill with the main difference being that it lacks the propane ignition system. The E6 comes with a revised cart that prevents wobbliness. The deflector plate is one piece, and the wheels are different. The E6 is compatible with a Rotisserie. Lump charcoal is recommended over briquettes. The heat deflector is 18 1/4" dia. Replacement wheels are readily available through Weber's customer service department. It comes with a Weber Gourmet BBQ System Hinged Cooking Grate. The Weber Summit Kamado E6 Charcoal Grill is the new version and has a sturdier base.
