Thule TracRac Van Rack

The Thule TracRac Van Rack is a sturdy and well-made roof rack system that is designed to fit vans with rain gutters. It comes in double and triple bar options, providing ample space for carrying items on the roof of your van. However, some customers have had mixed experiences with this product. While some have found it to be very sturdy and well-made, others have encountered difficulties during installation. One customer mentioned a missing part, but was able to resolve the issue with the help of customer service. Another customer experienced cross-threading on one of the trac installs, which was frustrating for them. The quality of the supplied mounting hardware has also been called into question. Some customers have noticed friction and galling issues with the stainless steel bolts, leading to difficulty in removing the bolts or even having to replace them. Paint flaking has also been reported on the brackets. Despite these drawbacks, customers who have successfully installed the Thule TracRac Van Rack appreciate its durability and functionality. It is expected to last a long time and fulfill their needs for carrying items on their vans.
