Dark Fantasy Editorial Review

**Editorial Review** "Bridge Over Hell" in the Heroes in Hell series presents a captivating and intricately woven narrative that deftly blends high adventure, humor, and deep poetic reflections. The plot centers around Job, a figure steeped in biblical lore, who is assigned the task of representing Washington A. Roebling in an appeal against his wrongful sentencing to Hell. Tasked with assembling the help of three renowned poets—Ezra Pound, Emily Dickinson, and Hart Crane—Job embarks on a journey that requires each poet to confront their own fears and fulfill their artistic potential in a realm where the norm is flipped on its head. Readers praise the book for its complexity, noting that it offers numerous surprises that enrich the narrative throughout. The interlocking storylines and characters, including the likes of historical figures and pop culture iCons, create a dynamic backdrop that encourages shedding conventional views on morality and virtue. The setting in Hell serves as an imaginative stage that allows for vivid storytelling, fostering an environment where redemption is explored through various character arcs. The humor infused within the Prose, along with thought-provoking poetry, adds to the book's allure, making it a highly recommended read for those who appreciate a blend of adventure and introspection alongside literary elements. Overall, the reception is overwhelmingly positive, with many deeming it one of the best in the Heroes in Hell series, celebrating its artistic merit and entertainment value. **
