- Billu Barber (Blu-Ray) (Shahrukh Khan / Indian Cinema / Bollywood Film / Hindi Film)
0 ratings
The best moment of Billu comes at the end, when Sahir Khan recalls his childhood at a school function and Billu hears it from across a faraway fence and walks away after hearing it. His wife, who had been so eager to see Sahir, joins him. The movie doesn t end there. But what follows is worth sitting the whole movie through. Do watch it. --apunkachoice.com

Movies Editorial Review
Billu Barber is a heartwarming film that brings together the engaging performances of Shahrukh Khan and Irrfan Khan, blending themes of friendship, pride, and community. The storyline centers around Billu, a humble barber in a rural village, who struggles with the fear of reconnecting with his childhood friend, the now-famous Khan, due to his own insecurities and the villagers' expectations. The film delivers subtle humor and poignant moments that resonate with viewers, especially through the interactions with his supportive wife, played by Lara Dutta, and their children. This reduces the stereotypical portrayals of Indian families in cinema, focusing rather on genuine emotions and relatable experiences, making it a must-watch.
