Dynamics Editorial Review

**** The book "Turbulent Flows" has made a notable impact among students and researchers in the field of fluid mechanics and turbulence. Frequently recommended as an essential resource, it is recognized for its comprehensive coverage of both basic concepts and advanced topics in turbulence. The clear explanations provided by the author make it accessible to beginners, while still offering significant detail that benefits seasoned researchers. Several customers highlight the book's dual utility: as a reference for foundational theories and as a guide for practical applications in turbulence simulations, including methods like RANS, LES, and DNS. The first part of the book lays down essential theories and concepts, making it suitable for newcomers, whereas the second part dives deeper into simulation techniques, a feature many users deem invaluable. Despite some comments regarding the initial complexity and length of the material, most readers acknowledge that the depth and breadth of the content justify the effort required to engage with it. Users frequently mention returning to this book for clarification on fundamental theoretical results, underscoring its role as a staple in their academic or professional libraries. Overall, "Turbulent Flows" is recommended as a one-stop resource for anyone serious about studying turbulence. **
