Nutritionist's Take
Medtrition XtraCal Plus is often recognized for its high calcium content, making it beneficial for individuals looking to increase their calcium intake, especially those with dietary restrictions or lactose intolerance. It is designed to support bone health and is suitable for various dietary needs, including gluten-free and low-residue diets. However, some nutritionists caution about its sugar content and artificial ingredients, which may not align with cleaner eating practices. Furthermore, while it provides a significant percentage of daily calcium requirements, its efficacy in promoting overall health depends on a balanced diet and not solely on supplements. Consumers should consider their individual health goals and consult with a healthcare provider to determine if this supplement fits their nutritional needs.
Medtrition MCT Oil Editorial Review
XtraCal Plus 25 Pack XtraCal Plus 25 Pack is an effective supplement for individuals who require enhanced nutrition or increased caloric intake. It mixes easily with water and can be conveniently added to feeding formulas without any problems. It is ideal for individuals who are unable to eat or require additional nutrition due to surgery or other medical conditions. However, some Consumers found the taste unpleasant and preferred an alternative supplement like Nestle Benecalorie, which offers more calories without any aftertaste.
