Saxon Advanced Mathematics, 2nd Edition has its Pros and Cons for homeschoolers. The textbook is well designed, it mixes new material with older material in each section and is very helpful for a quick refresher. However, the book's biggest downside is that it lacks section numbers. This can be frustrating for students who want to refer back to the relevant section for a quick refresher. Another issue is that the Homeschool packet only contains the solutions to the test problems and not the actual test forms. The actual test forms are sold separately which could be Considered misleading. Furthermore, it may not include all of the products one thinks they are purchasing.
