Behlen Country Wood Polish B745-4000 Editorial Review
The Swel-Lock 2fl oz product is a wood-swelling solution designed to tighten loose joints without the need to take furniture apart. According to a furniture re-finisher, the product is thin enough to drip into joints and soak right in. After a few minutes, excess solution can be wiped off with a soft cloth. The reviewer found it to be effective in tightening loose joints and noted that it cleans off finishes easily. The product is reported to work well on wood-on-wood joints, but may not be as effective on wood-on-metal joints, such as grilling utensils. In such cases, epoxy is suggested as a better alternative. Customers have reported varying results with the Swel-Lock 2fl oz product. Some found it to be effective in tightening loose joints, such as in a wobbly rocking chair or dining room chair legs. However, others found the product to be runny and not effective in swelling slip joints. Overall, the Swel-Lock 2fl oz product appears to have mixed feedback, with some customers finding success in using it to tighten loose joints, while others were dissatisfied with its performance.
