The DEWALT DCCS677B is a 60V Flexvolt Brushless Chainsaw that is an excellent alternative to gas-powered chainsaws. It comes with a carrying case, bar sheath, sharpening file, and tensioning tool but does not include the battery and charger, which should be purchased separately. The chainsaw is powered by a 60-volt battery and paired with one of the larger 60v batteries (12amp, 15amp) can do an excellent job. It is super quiet and produces great cuts. It can accommodate 12/16/18" Dewalt bars which provide a great degree of flexibility to the user. However, a common annoyance mentioned by users is that it does not come with a Dewalt brand chain; it ships with an Oregon chain. The part number for the Dewalt chain exists, but there are none available in the market. Users have complained about the chain tensioner not being up to Dewalt's usual craftsmanship standards, which has been causing issues with broken gears and slipping.
