Psychiatry Editorial Review
**** "Solution Focused Narrative Therapy," 1st Edition, has garnered a mixed reception among readers, particularly those within the therapeutic community. The book is praised for its insightful integration of narrative therapy and solution-focused approaches, indicating that author Linda has successfully blended these two post-modern frameworks to offer meaningful insights for therapists and counselors. Readers commend the depth and clarity with which the concepts are presented, making it a valuable resource for practitioners seeking to enhance their therapeutic practices. Despite its strengths, the book faces criticism regarding its pricing, with some readers feeling that the cost does not align with the content provided, especially for those already familiar with solution-focused therapy. Concerns include a perceived lack of new material, suggesting that experienced counselors may not gain significant value from the purchase. Additionally, while the availability of an ebook offers some convenience, users have found accessing it on multiple devices to be cumbersome. Overall, while "Solution Focused Narrative Therapy" serves as a commendable resource for integrating two therapeutic frameworks, potential buyers should weigh the content against its price, particularly if they are already engaged with solution-focused methods. **
