Graphics & Multimedia Editorial Review

**** The "Illustrator CC: Visual QuickStart Guide" 1st Edition is positioned as a valuable resource for anyone looking to master Adobe Illustrator, whether they are beginners or seasoned graphic designers transitioning from other software like Corel Draw. Users appreciate the comprehensive coverage of the program, noting its effectiveness in explaining crucial functionalities such as layering techniques, drawing with effects like blurs and glows, and understanding essential commands. The guide is described as accessible to a wide audience, making it particularly appealing for those without extensive backgrounds in computer graphics. Readers highlight the book's structured layout, which provides a detailed look at various aspects of Illustrator, often accompanied by helpful visuals that enhance comprehension. While the text's style may occasionally be perceived as dry, the Consensus is that it serves well as a quick reference for those needing immediate guidance on specific tasks within the software. Many users have found it especially beneficial when paired with practical instruction from an educator. Despite its strengths, some users have expressed frustrations regarding the complexity of Illustrator itself, suggesting that the book could benefit from more discrete lessons or clearer organization to aid navigation. Nonetheless, it is frequently recommended as a must-have resource for anyone serious about utilizing Adobe Illustrator effectively. **
