The Egyptian Chess Set is a unique and beautifully crafted set that adds a twist of ancient Egyptian deity-themed platform to the classic game of chess. The playing surface is screened and painted MDF, while the base is resin. The pieces are shown in the picture and are fairly easy to take out of the storage base. According to customer feedback, there have been issues with the quality of the pieces, particularly the pawns which have a small staff that is easily broken. Some customers have also received damaged pieces upon delivery. The set is on the pricier side, and some customers feel that the quality of the product does not match its cost.
