Users can even reuse the bags by adding solvent and emptying them into another vessel or bag, but any air that gets into the bag can quickly oxidize with the small amount of finish which clings to the inner walls and corners of the bag. When users use the StopLossBag, they will develop a sense of the amount to decant for brushing. Customers have used these bags on different finishing products that normally don't last long in the can, and they seem to do what they claim to do by providing longer life to expensive finishes. However, users must eliminate all the air before capping off, so no gummy film forms over the finish.
