Tori Amos Format: Vinyl Pop Editorial Review
** Tori Amos' "Diving Deep: Live" Album** "Diving Deep: Live" by Tori Amos is a remarkable live album that echoes the artist's depth and connection with her audience. Listeners have fallen for the album’s eclectic setlist, which blends beloved classics with contemporary hits, showcasing Amos' evolution as an artist from "Little Earthquakes" to "Ocean to Ocean." Many fans have praised the top-notch sound production, handled by Mark Hawley, which captures the essence of an intimate live performance, keeping Tori's signature vocals and piano at the forefront. The overall reception highlights the album's atmospheric quality and storytelling prowess. Reviewers describe the live performance as epic and heartfelt, allowing fans to revisit nostalgic moments while immersing themselves in new interpretations of her music. Jon Evan's standout bass playing has also garnered some specific applause, indicating a well-rounded ensemble performance. However, not all feedback has been wholly positive. Some listeners have reported quality issues with the vinyl, including audio pops and skips that marred their experience. Concerns have also been raised about the strategic omission of tracks from the vinyl version, compelling fans to buy multiple formats to access all songs. As a result, issues with sound quality have led to frustration regarding the pressing of the album. In summary, while "Diving Deep: Live" has captivated many fans with its artistic brilliance and emotive performances, quality control issues and the vinyl's track omissions have cast a shadow on its reception. **
