One reviewer mentioned that their son has learned how to break down steps and logically plan out Botley's actions, indicating that the toy is effective in teaching programming skills. The toy has been enjoyed by children ranging from ages 2 to 10, showing that it can cater to a wide age range. Reviewers mentioned that children enjoyed setting up obstacles for Botley and challenging each other, indicating that the toy encourages interactive play. Educators who have used the Code and Go Mouse in the past have commented on how Botley offers even more possibilities for learning. They mentioned that their students love the new features and are excited to explore and experiment with the robot. The instruction book provides a set of challenges, but reviewers also noted that children quickly went on to create their own challenges for Botley. In terms of usability, parents have found Botley to be easy to use and program. The clear instructions and intuitive design make it accessible for both children and adults. Reviewers also appreciated the extra touches, such as Botley's responses to different situations, which added to the overall experience. Overall, Botley seems to be a well-received and engaging toy for teaching coding and STEM-related skills to children.
