Users generally praise the device for its smooth installation process, solid durability, and the extensive functionality provided through the accompanying app. Many appreciate the ease of connecting it to their home Wi-Fi network, as well as its compatibility with smart home systems like HomeKit. The incorporation of brass inlets and outlets enhances perceptions of its build quality, with some users proclaiming it to be superior to competitor products. On the functionality front, customers are impressed with the timer's scheduling capabilities, allowing for tailored watering routines based on local weather conditions and individual zone requirements. The device's ability to operate manually as well as through the app adds convenience for users who may not always want to rely on smart technology. However, customer feedback also highlights several issues that potential buyers should Consider. Some users reported severe leaks during installation, indicating quality control concerns. The setup process can be frustrating for a segment of users, with reports of connectivity issues between multiple devices and the need for specific connectivity precautions. Additionally, there are criticisms regarding the lack of clear instructions for setup and troubleshooting, prompting some customers to express dissatisfaction that led them to Consider returning the product. Overall, the meross WiFi Water Timer is well-received for its resilience and functionality but is marred by issues like setup challenges and leak concerns that may affect overall satisfaction. **
