Olga Tokarczuk

The author effectively blends nostalgia and memory with innovative storytelling. Readers appreciate the book's rich exploration of the past, reflecting on personal and collective memories through the experiences at the clinic. It is praised for its eloquent writing style and thought-provoking themes, although some find the plot slightly diffuse and challenging to follow.
