  • 題: Once opened how long does it last in the fridge?

    回答: I bought it in March 2019, and the date says March 2020 - definitely 2020 anyway. I just smelt it and it smells fine, I wouldn’t be throwing it away until I don’t think it smells OK. I can’t advise you on that though.
  • 題: Can this product be shipped without refrigeration?

    回答: Yes.
  • 題: When I tried this, the soup was just like water with an oil slick on top. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice?

    回答: Tom yum is a thin broth, very spicy, but just a base really. I add sliced mushrooms, red capsicum, lemongrass, fresh coriander, spring onions, and if I want to make it a bit posh, I add raw prawns last minute or serve it over dumplings.

    回答: No, because it contains fish.
  • 題: Is it 4x400 gram or 400 grams total?

    回答: It's 1600 grams. One container is 400 grams. 4x400 grams is a wholesale pack.
  • 題: Is this the same as red miso paste?

    回答: No, red miso paste is Soybean. Tom Yam paste is chili, galangal, lemongrass, coriander, etc.
  • 題: Is this paste suitable for vegans?

    回答: No. It contains shrimp paste, so it's not suitable for vegans.
  • 題: Could someone look to see if this is halal certified?

    回答: Thai curry blends, especially major brands, are almost always halal. If the product is halal, the packaging should have a white square with black writing that includes the Arabic word for Halal.
  • 題: I want to know the 'used by date' before I place an order.

    回答: These come with a BBD (Best before date). Normally, it will be 12 months or so. I am still using mine from BBD Feb 2017, so 2.5 years out of date, but it is still lovely. It makes great soups with prawns, mushrooms, and cabbage added.
  • 題: Is this vegan?

    回答: As with most Thai pastes... no. It has fish sauce in it.
