Joseph Joseph Mandolines 20141 Editorial Review
The Joseph Joseph 20141 Multi-Grip Mandoline offers a smooth and efficient slicing experience. With three different thickness options, it allows for versatility in slice thickness. The mandoline comes with a food grip that acts as a guard and a padlock setting that keeps the blade flush with the body of the mandoline, ensuring safety when not in use. The blades are sharp, requiring little effort to grate hard cabbage or carrots, but caution should be taken and the guard should be used. The mandoline is capable of slicing potatoes and can likely handle swede as well. It is also suitable for slicing onions, producing thin slices without causing tears. Overall, customer experiences and reviews of the Joseph Joseph 20141 Multi-Grip Mandoline are mixed. Some users have found the mandoline to be easy to use and efficient in slicing vegetables, particularly for preparing small quantities or salads. The mechanisms for holding small items are praised, as they prevent wastage and allow for precise slicing. However, some users have found the grip to be slippery and expressed concerns about the sharpness of the blades, advising caution when using the mandoline. There have also been instances of accidents and injuries, emphasizing the need for careful handling.
