Ideal for newcomers to DJing, offering a user-friendly interface and compact design for easy transport.
Lightweight and portable, making it perfect for DJs who perform at various locations or events.
Great for hobbyists looking to mix music without investing in expensive, professional-grade equipment.
Experienced DJs may find limited controls and features inadequate for complex sets or advanced performance needs.
The editorial review of the Reloop Buddy compact 2-channel DJ controller is overwhelmingly positive. The reviewer highlights the robust build and well-engineered features and controls of the device. They commend its performance and pricing, especially when compared to older models from years past. The seamless compatibility with an iPad and powerful output for driving speakers is also appreciated. The reviewer recommends it for house parties, small venues, and various other settings. However, the review also brings up some issues. They express disappointment with the positioning of the USB inputs/outputs and the need for additional adaptors and cables to connect with an iPad/iPhone. The lack of sound output from the iOS device while connected to the Reloop Buddy and the inadequate instruction manual are also mentioned as drawbacks. Additionally, they note the complexity for beginners in understanding all the controls.
