The Behringer X-TOUCH MINI Midi Controller is a versatile and customizable tool for those working with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and software such as Cubase, Ableton, Logic, and more. It supports various operating modes like Mackie Control, HUI, and MIDI, allowing users to find the setup that works best for them. One notable feature of the X-TOUCH MINI is its eight rotary knobs, which rotate endlessly and also have a momentary push-down switch action. This flexibility makes it ideal for tasks like photo editing in Lightroom, where users can utilize the knobs with the Midi2LR plugin to customize settings and improve workflow efficiency. However, it is important to note that the X-TOUCH MINI may require additional setup and configuration to work seamlessly with certain software programs. For example, users looking to use it with Adobe After Effects and Photoshop will need a third-party MIDI translation program like Bome's MIDI Translator Pro. While this may present a learning curve and require some patience, it is possible to get the X-TOUCH MINI working effectively with these programs. Overall, the Behringer X-TOUCH MINI Midi Controller is a powerful and customizable tool for DAW users and photographers. With a bit of effort in setup and configuration, it can greatly enhance workflow efficiency and offer a more hands-on approach to software control.
