This Quantum Field Theory book by Srednicki is a unique book that is recommended for anyone who is comfortable with special relativity, electrodynamics, and quantum mechanics, and is prepared to devote serious time and effort to learning QFT. The book covers all sectors of the Standard Model, including renormalization, derivations of Feynman diagrams from the path integral, and mini-reviews of some non-perturbative topics. The presentation is generally clear, with full calculations, underlying assumptions, and bags of tricks for every calculation. The book is not very focused on physics intuition but is still a good supplement to your library. However, some reviewers complained about the poor edition, printing, and binding quality of the book.
