tolviviov DP-W2-PRO(imc) Editorial Review
The tolviviov Home Alarm System (2nd Gen) garners a generally positive reception from customers, particularly for its efficacy, ease of use, and affordability compared to traditional home security systems. Many users appreciate the system's simple DIY setup process, noting that connecting devices and configuring settings is intuitive. The system's app offers immediate notifications for security status, which adds to the users' sense of safety. Customers have reported a good range for sensors, with distances up to 50 feet from the base unit being achievable without issues. The ability of the free version of the app to send cellular notifications without a local internet connection has also been highlighted as a noteworthy feature, enhancing reliability in various situations. Furthermore, the aesthetic design of the system has been well-received, with many users describing it as visually appealing and neat. However, a few drawbacks were mentioned. Users pointed out the absence of notifications for low battery levels on sensors, which led to unexpected alarms when entering through a door with a depleted battery. Additionally, there are concerns about the inadequacy of the alarm’s sound management options and a lack of clarity regarding the operational differences between 'home' and 'away' modes. The persistent red light on the hub, which doesn’t change status, has also been a point of confusion and irritation for some users. Overall, despite these minor setbacks, customers widely endorse the tolviviov Home Alarm System, emphasizing its value for money and robust features. **
