Transformers Action Figures F0859 Editorial Review
The Transformers Generations Selects WFC-GS17 Shattered Glass Ratchet and Optimus Prime figures bring a unique twist to the well-established Transformers lore, focusing on alternate universe versions of beloved characters. While opinions on the alternate universe concept may vary, the execution in this set has generally been well-received by those who appreciate the Shattered Glass storyline. The Shattered Glass Optimus Prime is noted for being a strong figure, exhibiting familiar, superb engineering Consistent with the “War for Cybertron” series. While it is a repaint of the Earthrise version, fans commend its well-designed robot mode, decent truck cab, and enjoyable transformation mechanics. Many agree that it stands as the most economical representation of a Shattered Glass Prime currently available. Ratchet, while based on the Siege Ironhide mold, has garnered attention owing to his rarity and appeal. The figure is seen as an exciting opportunity, particularly for collectors who missed out on previous editions. Although some users found issues with the assembly of the ambulance mode roof, it also adds versatility as a shield. Still, several critiques highlight aesthetic flaws, such as the visible blue feet in vehicle mode and minor molding inConsistencies. In summary, the Shattered Glass Ratchet and Optimus Prime figures deliver distinctive designs that cater to collectors and fans alike, albeit with a few minor flaws that do not overshadow their overall value. **
